What is it?
Muttai Paniyaram or Egg Paniyaram is a light snack or side dish or an appetizer made out of egg and onion along with simple spices and no need of any batter. It is a simple, easy recipe for anyone to make it. Anyone tired of the same old way of eating egg omelette for years, this can be new. It is the same equipment (kuzhi paniyaram) is used here for muttai paniyaram.
As we all know, the health benefits of eggs which are high in proteins is key food for muscle growth. So far I haven’t witnessed these egg bites in other cuisines of India (yet to explore), the first time I have eaten at my friend’s marriage party.
What does it taste like?
Muttai Paniyaram is a very lightly crispy and soft textured ball. The taste of sweetness from carrot, spicy from pepper and green chili coated inside the egg balls. Do not limit your creativity of adding your preferred vegetables or spices but just make sure it is blended finely that the outcome of the texture is smooth and blending is consistent.

Just as a snack or anything you may think of with.
Muttai paniyaram is served during breakfast, lunch or dinner or I don’t want to limit myself to few foods. As in general egg is one of the protein rich foods that can be combined with most of the dishes eaten for heart’s content. If you have never heard of paniyaram pan before, not to think too much, it is available on amazon. There can be different sizes and holes inside the pan, I can cook 7 eggs at a time.
